Melbourne Gay & Lesbian Chorus

Singing together for 25 years

The Chorus is an award winning choir with a passionate commitment to camaraderie through music. Over our 25 year history, our members have challenged stereotypes and stood as proud role models for those struggling with their sexuality or identity. At MGLC, membership is open to all, and we welcome new members from all backgrounds, ages and levels of musical ability.

April 28 2015 will mark the 25th anniversary of MGLC’s first rehearsal, held in South Melbourne way back in 1990! And we’re celebrating!

MGLC promises to be big year for our choristers – with a Gala Ball and anniversary concert in the planning, and we would like you to help us celebrate. We are putting out the call for past members to come and join us. If you are one of the hundreds of alumnae who have ever called MGLC home, we are looking for you!
